Contributing guidelines to a technology platform. Based on an analysis of jobs and companies in the construction sector of the wider Bucaramanga area

Abstract

This article intends to contribute guidelines for the development of a technology platform, based on analysing the construction sector of the Wider Bucaramanga Area (WBA), in order to obtain variables related to the characterization of employment in the construction sector, for advice on economic policy. It performs a descriptive analysis of the sample, using microdata from GEIH (I2015) provided by DANE, with a few comments, focusing on a series of reference variables that characterize employees of the sector in Bucaramanga. Then it surveys the structure of the technology platform, with employers interested in the guidelines developed by this research.
