This paper aims to design a multi-response optimization model for a non-optimized chemical production process in a Colombian entity located in a petrochemical cluster. The estimation and diagnosis of an experimental composite central type design are carried out. The response variables correspond to the global cost of operation and yield, while the controllable factors are: Temperature (°C), Polymer concentration (%) and Oxygen concentration (%). The interactions between factors and desirability function are determined and indicate that the global optimum of the operation is located in the fifth execution.
