Abstract

Los mapas sociales urbanos son una excelente herramienta para comprender y planificar la ciudad. La Geografía, como ciencia espacial, utiliza métodos cuantitativos para su creación. La posibilidad de digitalización con base en el globo terráqueo virtual (GTV), la aplicación de software de análisis estadístico (método cluster analysis), Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) y Sistemas de Ayuda a la Decisión Espacial (SADE) apoyan perfectamente esta tarea. El presente trabajo, valiéndose de estos recursos y datos censales 2010, tiene como objetivo realizar el mapa social de la ciudad de Luján e inferir su modelo.

 

Abstract

Urban social maps are an excellent tool for understanding and planning the city. The Geography, as spatial science, used quantitative methods for its creations. The possibility of digitizing based on the digital virtual globe (DVG), the application of statistical analysis software (cluster analysis method); Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Spatial Decision Support Systems (SDSS) perfectly support this task. This paper, using these resources and 2010 census data, aims to make the social map of the city of Luján and infer its model.
