La necesaria afirmación de nosotros mismos como valiosos, según la bella fórmula de Arturo Andrés Roig, impone tener presentes la memoria histórica de la lucha por el reconocimiento de nuestra particular forma de ser humanos y, al mismo tiempo, la obligación de recordar al “otro” su propia humanidad, perdida en el ejercicio de la dominación. En la oposición afirmación/negación de lo humano se juega la afirmación de nosotros mismos como valiosos.
