En éste artículo se hace una lectura de la teoría de las generaciones del filósofo español, a la luz del desarrollo de los acontecimientos y cambios de paradigmas operados en la modernidad. Asimismo, se establecen rangos comparativos con otros pensadores que hablaron del mismo tema, para posteriormente realizar un análisis de la teoría orteguiana, a la luz de los hechos históricos en cuanto al aspecto generacional en la segunda mitad del siglo XX.
