Abstract

Since the enactment of Act 19,705, a new concept was brought into our country called “corporate governance”. This way, this article contains by object analyze the corporate governance on a single company of retail sector, case of Ripley Corp., based ol the recent Literature, the law´s published by the Chilean Government, and the General law´s, dictated by the Superintendence of Values and Insurance, which ones defi ned the guideline of evaluation of the corporate governance, the results show what the society on study accomplish with almost the guidelines.
