Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format and has been prepared following the instructions set out in the HS Template and the journal's Author Guidelines.
- The length of the manuscript is not less than 4,500 words nor more than 5,000 words (Including titles, abstract, keywords, bibliographic references, figures, and tables).
- The title, summary, and keywords are in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
- The figures are included in the text (Once the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors will be asked to independently attach each figure as a JPG or PNG image file with a resolution of 1200 px on the short side and 300 dpi.)
- The tables are included in the text (Once the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors will be requested to send it as an additional file in Excel format).
- The source of funding and author identification does not appear in the text (images or tables) to ensure double-blind review and anonymous evaluation. If the article is accepted, this information should be included during proofreading.
- The Author’s Statement is attached to the submission, is signed by all the authors, and the contributions of each author have been identified according to CREdiT. (Download here)
