Abstract

From the perspective of the inhabitants of closed urbanizations of high economic level; perimeter fences, surveillance and comfort are the guarantors of security and exclusivity from the risks that come from outside. In Metepec, real estate agencies in partnership with the public sector have capitalized these needs to produce innovative urban forms embedded in a selective trade process, which manifests itself in the conformation of varied lifestyles, based on individuality and social distance.
