A study on urban inequality
Keywords:
inequality, social organization, society, urban communityAbstract
Equality is a value attributed to the social need of living together, due to the fact that inequality does not make life in community an attractive option.
The search for certain equality in different dimensions of life between members of a society, a city or a State, is one of the basis of politics, i.e. of the establishment of priorities in social organization and use of resources.
This article deals with different aspects related to the variables of equality and inequality in urban contexts, as urban contexts are considered to have the highest social interrelation where it is easier to identify the elements that illustrate equality and/or inequality.
