Abstract

La Universidad del Bío-Bío es una institución de educación superior que se creó a instancias de la nueva legislación que en el año 1981 modificó el sistema universitario chileno y como tal, proviene de la fusión de la Universidad Técnica del Estado sede Concepción y del Instituto Profesional de Chillán, plantel derivado a su vez de la Universidad de Chile sede Ñuble.
