Abstract

This article analyzes the notion of “neighborhood” through a bibliographic review followed by a theoretical discussion about this category. The examined concepts associated to this notion, are applied to the Valparaiso’s urban setting in order to propose a sectorial division –neighborhoods- with analytical purposes.
