Recuperación del borde costero, la transformación de una ciudad. Tomé
Keywords:
coastal border, road infrastructure, urban recoveryAbstract
Looking at the future, it is extremely important to materialize the projects and programmes that will boost the functionality of the coastal border, particularly in the case of the recovery of the coastal road of Tomé.
From the vision of an industrial and textile city declared Main Port for exchanges with foreign countries in 1958, to the decadency of the port due to the arrival of the railway and the gradual change of the role of the city, Tomé can be defined as a city undergoing a process of transformation and transition that is leaving its historical past behind to focus mainly on the development of tourism, according to the needs of the present times.
