Plan agache de Río de Janeiro, capital federal de Brasil: Urbanismo de excelencia en los años 20
Abstract
En 1928, Antonio Prado Junior, Intendente (1926-30) de Rio de Janeiro, entonces capital federal, invitó al urbanista francés Alfredo Agache a venir al Brasil para elaborar el primer Plano Urbanístico abarcador de la ciudad. El episodio renovaba la influencia intelectual hegemónica de la cultura francesa sobre Brasil, que perduró hasta la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
