It is particularly analyze the presence or absence of critical urban conditions that encourage the massive transport usage, considering that it is of great value in the sustainable development of cities. In order to achieve this goal, it is used a conceptual model of mass transit oriented cities, proposed by Julio Pozueta (2000), and it is applied to the case of study. In addition to this, it is examined the work of other authors, focusing not only in those related to the analyzed area but also in those which study urban world tendencies, especially in Latin America cities.
