Rite and architecture
Abstract
All rites possess a structure or pattern of behaviour composed of a series of repeated and deeply significant actions that must be carefully followed in order to prepare the transition to an eminently spiritual state, although these may not necessarily involve religious acts. This issue brings together articles that investigate and reflect upon the relationship between these solemn human activities motivated by faith and the architecture that shelters them in our extensive Latin American landscape.
