Main Article Content
Abstract
Resilience like any other skill can be developed mostly in the childhood stage. Because of this, there is an interest in generating a new proposal that strengthens the social and emotional well-being of primary school students, based on a set of strategies that allow primary school teachers to have options when choosing their personal development techniques to guide their students. The literature review indicates the existence of multiple alternatives, mainly to promote self-esteem, understood as the factor that is at the base of psychological well-being, and therefore a variable that cannot be ignored in a proposal that develops resilience. In conclusion, it can be indicated that due to the importance assigned to socio-emotional education in the educational system today, a proposal like this makes more sense.
